ABSUMA began on a train when Simon Keet met Kristina and started playing his songs at her. She didn’t tell him to stop. The bass chose her, friends filled the room, and now six of them rehearse every Tuesday in a bungalow. Simon's gypsy grandad built a house called ''ABSUMA' and named it after himself (Abraham), his wife (Maureen) and daughter (Sue). Although they don't live there anymore, it lives on as the namesake of the band.
